BeakCheck provides vehicle history and information checking services for UK registered vehicles. Our services include:

• Free Checks: Basic vehicle information from DVLA including tax status, MOT expiry, and vehicle specifications.
• Premium Checks: Comprehensive vehicle history reports including finance checks, stolen vehicle checks, write-off status, mileage verification, and market valuations.

3. Data Sources and Attribution

Our vehicle reports contain data from multiple sources:

• Experian: Vehicle history data including finance, stolen, write-off, and mileage information is provided by Experian Ltd.
• DVLA: Basic vehicle registration data is sourced from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency.
• Third-party providers: Market valuations and similar listing data may be sourced from various automotive data providers.

4. Accuracy and Limitations of Data

IMPORTANT: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The information provided in our reports is for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for any purchasing decision.
• We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all information provided.
• Data is sourced from third-party providers and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
• Not all finance agreements, theft records, or write-offs may be registered with data providers.
• Mileage records may be incomplete as not all mileage readings are reported to databases.
• You should always conduct your own independent checks and inspections before purchasing any vehicle.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on the information provided.
• We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the data provided by third-party sources including Experian, DVLA, or other data providers.
• Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of our Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific report giving rise to the claim.

6. Data Guarantee

Certain premium reports may include a data guarantee provided by Experian. Where applicable:

• The guarantee is subject to Experian's terms and conditions, which are available at Experian AutoCheck.
• Claims under the guarantee must be made directly to Experian in accordance with their guarantee terms.
• We act as a reseller of Experian data and the guarantee is provided by Experian, not by us.

7. Payment and Refunds

• Premium reports are charged at the prices displayed at the time of purchase.
• All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
• Once a report has been generated and delivered, no refunds will be provided as the service has been fully performed.
• If we are unable to generate a report due to technical issues, you will receive a full refund.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to access, scrape, or collect data from our Service using automated means.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the reports without our written consent.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bloor Engineering Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
